The second men’s major championship of the year is here, as the 2025 PGA Championship kicks off Thursday morning at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Masters winner Rory McIlroy, who has made a good living in his career at Quail Hollow, is one of the favorites, but world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler still holds the outright favorite distinction. Bryson DeChambeau, fresh off his win at LIV Golf Korea, is also one expected to contend this week with his length.
There are 156 players in the field, including defending champion and world No. 3 Xander Schauffele, but only one can bring home the trophy.
