Harcourts dominates at LVD Auctioneering World Championships

Harcourts has demonstrated its auctioneering prowess at the prestigious LVD Auctioneering Championships held in Queenstown from Sunday 9th to Tuesday 11th March.

The blue team firmly established its dominance with over half the competitors representing the Harcourts brand across all divisions.

Mark McGoldrick from Harcourts Monarch Real Estate, Hamilton, claimed the Premier Division title, while Jack Sumich from Harcourts Property Ventures took home the Budding Star (Novice) category.

The LVD World Auctioneering Championships provide auctioneers with a platform to enhance their skills in the auctioneering craft.

Five finalists are selected from each division after a tough heats sequence and are judged on their presentation, presence, mathematics and humor.

Aaron Davis, Harcourts Head of Auctions Australia, was named as a Premier finalist, while Kobe Rae from Harcourts Greater Springfield Group, Australia, was a standout in the Novice section.

“It’s amazing to make the final of the world championships. Harcourts claimed victory in 2 out of 3 sections—proof that better never stops,” Mr Davis said.

The event celebrates and enhances the contribution of professionals to the auctioneering community, with competitors being evaluated on multiple aspects of their performance.

CEO of Harcourts Australia, Adrian Knowles, reflected on the company’s achievement with pride.

“Congratulations to all the Harcourts Auctioneers involved—this is an amazing set of results,” Mr Knowles said.

“We are deeply committed to fostering and developing the next generation of auctioneers, ensuring Harcourts continues to lead the way in the industry.”
