Neil and Meg Clark take over LJ Hooker Dural

The LJ Hooker legacy is set to continue in Sydney’s Hills District, with Neil and Meg Clark taking over LJ Hooker Dural.

The Announcement:

A highly experienced local real estate team has been unveiled as the new operators of LJ Hooker Dural, carrying on the network’s presence in Sydney’s Hills District that spans more than four decades.

New principals, Neil and Meg Clark, who have previously run independent agencies in the semi-rural area, welcomed the opportunity to join the LJ Hooker network.

“There are a lot of new emerging and then disappearing brands in real estate but for us, LJ Hooker has remained a steady constant in the industry,” Mr Clark said.

“People know and trust the brand, which is particularly important within our demographic – it has an unbeatable reputation.

“We believe the next five to 10 years will see the biggest growth Sydney’s semi-rural fringes and Hills area has ever seen, so this is an exciting change and at the right time for us.”

The married couple, who are proud local residents, have been living on and selling acreage properties around Dural for 33 years.

They have been the lead principals of start-up companies including Prudential Property and Mode Property.

They also have extensive expertise in residential and commercial sales, as well as acquiring property management divisions.

“A few years ago, we were one of only three independent offices in the Dural area and the rest were franchise offices,” Mr Clark said.

“Now it has all changed and almost everyone is independent, but I see value in doing something different – and for us with our experience and local knowledge, the LJ Hooker brand works.”

General Manager of Network, Stephen Mutton, said it is exciting to find highly skilled new operators to carry on the long legacy of the LJ Hooker in Sydney’s Hills District.

It follows the retirement of the previous owners who sold their business.

“It is wonderful that after 46 years LJ Hooker will continue to have a strong presence in this very prestigious and growing area of Sydney,” Mr Mutton said.

“We received a lot of enquiries from agents keen to take on this opportunity, however, Neil and Meg are stand-out operators who will bring a lot of experience and energy to our network.

“They are Hills locals and know this diverse and popular market which ranges from apartments to luxury high-end lifestyle estates.”

The couple are joined by Marketing and Operation Administrator Bailey Clark, Sales Associate Simon Clark, Sales and Marketing Support Kate Trotter and Administration Assistant Millie Lott, who also all reside locally.

High-end lifestyle estates on Sydney’s semi-rural fringes, in suburbs such as Kenthurst, Middle Dural, Arcadia, Berrilee, Galston and Glenorie, range in price from $2m to $15m.

LJ Hooker Dural will also cover neighbouring residential suburbs including Glenhaven, Castle Hill and Cherrybrook, with house prices ranging from $2m to $6m+.

The area, located 40 minutes from the CBD with easy access to Metro transport and quality schools, attracts families looking to upgrade, investors and international purchasers.

The business will also cover property management and commercial sales.

Finishing touches have just been added to the sleek new LJ Hooker Dural office prominently positioned at 538-540 Old Northern Rd, Dural.

It has been designed to be modern, comfortable and efficient.

“LJ Hooker is all about consistency and trust and so we wanted a strong presence in the community that is in keeping with the public’s expectation, “Ms Clark said.

“We are very visible, approachable and easy to find.

“LJ Hooker is a very innovative network, and as a business, it has a solid and very traditional foundation that resonates with our local area and that is what we are looking to reflect with our new premises.”
